Different Types of Honeycomb Flights

Each sheet has six sides which form triangles. There are three different ways to construct a hexcell. Types of Honeycomb Structures

There are many different types of honeycomb structures including square cells triangular cells pentagonal cells octagonal cells etc. Some of these designs are stronger than others. For example square cells are weaker than hexagonal cells because there are fewer bonds per unit volume. Triangular cells are stronger than square cells because they have more bonds per unit volume.
